The invention relates to a roll forming device for roll forming sheet metal strips, comprising a frame (2) and a number of pairs of rolls (6, 7). These pairs of rolls are placed one behind the other in a strip advancing direction, are arranged opposite one another in a parallel manner while forming a profiled gap (S) therebetween, through which the sheet metal strip to be processed passes, and thy can be rotationally driven. Said rolls (6, 7) are subdivided in a manner that is transversal to the strip advancing direction into first roll segments (6a, 7a) and second roll segments (6b, 7b), and at least the second roll segments (6b) can be moved transversal to the strip advancing direction. The inventive device is characterized in that the roll segments (6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) each comprises a base body (10), which is provided in the form of a hollow shaft, is held in a rotationally fixed manner on a shaft (9) that is mounted on the frame (2), and which can be axially removed therefrom. Said roll segments also comprise a number of profiled elements (11), which define a roll profile (11a), are held in a rotationally fixed manner on the base body (10) while lying next to one another, and which are detachably joined thereto.
