NOVEL SURFACTANT HAVING FLUOROCARBON CHAIN AND EMULSIFIER COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

A surfactant represented by the general formula (1) (1) wherein R1 and R2 independently represent a fluorine-containing alkyl group or fluorine-containing alkenyl group having four to ten carbon atoms, R3 represents an alkyl group having one to six carbon atoms, n denotes the number of methylene groups and is a number of 2 to 20, and X- represents an anionic group selected from among a halogen ion, an organic acid ion and a nitrate ion which is of one or multi-valency. The surfactant is novel and exhibits high surface activity and excellent emulsifying capability, even at a low concentration.
