PURPOSE: A method for supplying a mobile instant messenger service to a mobile communication terminal is provided to supply various instant messenger functions between mobile communication terminals where mobile instant messengers are installed, by using a mobile communication network, thereby enabling a mobile service. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal(210) has a mobile instant messenger, and uses a mobile instant messenger service. A wireless Internet network includes a mobile communication network(220) which transmits a signal and data transceived in the mobile instant messenger service to the mobile communication terminal(210). A messenger service server(260) processes member registration in the mobile instant messenger service, shares register/delete/list/state information on friends between registered mobile communication terminals, and supplies the mobile instant messenger service. A subscriber DB(262) updates, stores, and manages the list/state information.
