摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing copper powder of fine particles having high purity from washed waste solution by hydrometallurgical reduction process so as to improve demerits of conventional methods that non-reacted copper sulfate is remained, and copper hydroxide is changed into copper oxide as pH and temperature are not accurately controlled. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing copper powder comprises the steps of dissolving reducing sugar into an acidic waste copper chloride solution; reacting the reducing sugar dissolved waste copper chloride solution with alkali; filtering and washing a slurry precipitated; and reducing the filtered and washed slurry using hydrazine, wherein the reaction process is performed by sequentially dissolving the reducing sugar into the acidic waste copper chloride solution and then adding an alkali to the reducing sugar dissolved waste copper chloride solution, wherein the reducing sugar is one or more selected from glucose, fructose and maltose, wherein the alkali is one or more selected from sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, and lithium hydroxide, wherein an aqueous copper ion solution is used as the acidic waste copper chloride solution, and wherein the reducing sugar is contained in the acidic waste copper chloride solution.
