WHEELCHAIR, HAVING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING SITTING POSTURE AND MOREOVER LYING POSTURE OF PERSON

PURPOSE: A wheelchair, having a structure for supporting the sitting posture and moreover the lying posture of a person, is provided to use the wheelchair for the patient who has a trouble in moving the upper body or to maintain the sitting posture by simply changing the structure thereof. CONSTITUTION: The wheelchair includes: a frame(10), having a seat(11) for supporting the hip of a person, a back rest(12) which is connected with one end of the seat(11) to be swiveled relatively to the latter(11), and a foot plate portion(16) which is connected with other end of the seat(11) to be swiveled relatively to the latter(11); a pair of rear wheels(20), connected with both sides of the frame(10); a pair of front wheels(30), connected with both sides of the frame(10), which are located in the front of the rear wheels(20), so as to support the frame(10) together with the rear wheels(20); and an actuator(40), connected with the frame(10) and moving the seat(11) forward and backward relatively to the rear wheels(20).
