PURPOSE: A method for confirming an edited initialization screen and a mobile phone for providing an initial screen preview function are provided to enable a user to check whether an inputted text is inserted into a desired position and re-edit the text in a previous state again. CONSTITUTION: An initial screen editing unit(20) changes initial screen information to initial screen information received from a user. A storing unit(40) stores initial screen information inputted by the user. A preview supporting unit(30) outputs inputted initial screen information according to the input of a preview key button of the user. A key button for re-editing the initial screen is inputted after preview screen information of the initial screen is outputted, initial screen information is re-edited.
