PURPOSE: A system and method for downloading a wireless Internet service platform and a mobile terminal therefor are provided to enhance the use efficiency of a memory of a terminal, reduce costs of the terminal, extend to a new service and enhance the service efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A contents server(200) is connected to a data core network of a mobile communication system and downloads wireless Internet contents and a wireless Internet service platform for executing the contents to a mobile terminal(100) upon receiving a corresponding request. The mobile terminal(100) is connected to the wireless Internet, has a platform memory storing the wireless Internet service platform for executing the wireless Internet contents, downloads the wireless Internet service platform for executing the wireless Internet contents from the contents server(200) and mounts it in the platform memory.
