PURPOSE: To provide a converter tapping hole plug rotatably plugged in converter tapping hole, wherein operation efficiency is improved by easily and firmly inserting the converter tapping hole plug into the tapping hole although obstacles exist in the converter tapping hole, and quality of molten steel is improved by improving bearing capacity of the plug inserted into the converter tapping hole. CONSTITUTION: The converter tapping hole plug rotatably plugged in converter tapping hole comprises an insertion cap(50) on the outer circumferential surface of which a spiral groove(51) or a spiral protrusion is formed, and which is integrally formed on a front part of a cylindrical plug body(90); and a hole(91) and a concave portion(92) that are formed on a rear part of the plug body, wherein a front part of an insertion bar with a handle part is inserted into the hole, and a supporting part of the insertion bar is inserted into the concave portion.
