PURPOSE: A map version management method using a vehicle navigation guide apparatus and a system thereof are provided, which perform accurate guide on a terminal with pathfinding information transmitted from a server. CONSTITUTION: A GPS satellite(200) receives present position information of a moving object. A path scan server(220) scans a path corresponding to destination information inputted by a user and then judges whether to update a pap by judging the version of each link in the pathfinding to correspond to a map version transmitted from a vehicle navigation guide apparatus(210), and transmits corresponding pathfinding by inputting update information to the rear of the corresponding link if map update is necessary. And the vehicle navigation guide apparatus reconstructs the link and extracts guide information from the update information and then stores it in the link.
