PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for automatically joining a book jacket to a cover of a book bound in western style, to improve productivity, obtain a high level of uniform product quality, and increase the work processing rate. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for automatically joining a book jacket to a cover of a book bound includes a main body(100) having a work table(101); a lower mold(130) on which a book jacket and a plate are placed; an upper mold(120) installed as opposed to the lower mold(130); a lifting unit(105) for lifting the upper mold(120) to be interlocked with the lower mold(130); a mold housing; a guide plate inserted into the mold housing; a plurality of mold splitters vertically and horizontally movably installed along an inclined guide surface of the mold housing; and a support for bending a bounded portion of the book jacket along an external end of the plate.
