PARENTAL SETTING METHOD OF A DVD PLAYER, SPECIALLY WITH REGARDS TO SETTING DESIRED PARENTAL SECTIONS FOR PLURAL SECTIONS, RESPECTIVELY

PURPOSE: A parental setting method of a DVD player is provided to set parental sections for desired plural sections, respectively, thereby variously using a DVD, so that a user can selectively watch a desired part of the DVD. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer decides whether a current state of a DVD player is in play mode(20). If so, the microcomputer receives a parental key input from a user through a key input unit(22). The microcomputer stops playing by controlling a DVD driver, and displays a message window for inputting a code through a TV screen. The microcomputer receives the code corresponding to a key operation(24). The microcomputer sets parental sections of DVD sections, and stores parental section-related information in a storage(26).
