SMALL SIZE MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA FOR FOLDING TYPE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL FOR IMPROVING EFFICIENCY OF ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A microstrip patch antenna is provided to minimize influence of electromagnetic interference on a human body by arranging the antenna at the position spaced far apart from a speaker. CONSTITUTION: A microstrip patch antenna comprises a flexible microstrip substrate(100), a plurality of flexible microstrip patch antennas(200), a flexible microstrip line(110), and a feeder line(120). The flexible microstrip substrate is arranged in a cover which covers an LCD window, in the vicinity of hinge portions. The flexible microstrip patch antennas are arranged into an array type on the flexible microstrip substrate. The flexible microstrip line is extended from the flexible microstrip substrate to an antenna module of a main body of a mobile communication terminal, through the hinge portions. The feeder line is arranged along the flexible microstrip line so as to electrically connect the flexible microstrip patch antenna and the antenna module of the main body of the mobile communication terminal.
