Purpose: the cooling device for an electro-photographic type imaging device is provided to sucks outer gas and a directly cooling developing apparatus by compulsion. Construction: a catheter body (1) is mounted between a fusing unit and a developing apparatus. One soakage part has the first suction hole and the first discharging hole. First discharging hole discharges outer gas, is sucked by the first suction hole to developing apparatus. One supply fan (30) is installed in soakage part, so that outer gas is sucked through the first suction hole. The discharge portion (20) formed among catheter body has the second suction hole (21) and the second discharging hole (22). Second suction hole inspiration air is by fusing unit heat supply. Second discharging hole discharges air, is sucked by the second suction hole to outside. One scavenger fan (40) is installed in discharge portion, is sucked through the second suction hole to heat gas.
