PURPOSE: A double-effect serial absorption-type refrigerating machine is provided to improve favorably the absorption performance of refrigerant steam and the cooling efficiency of an absorption solution with high concentration by sprinkling equally the absorption solution jetted from the absorption solution spreading pipe only to a cooling water pipe. CONSTITUTION: A double-effect serial absorption-type refrigerating machine is composed of a high-temperature regenerator(1), a gas-liquid separator(2), a low-temperature regenerator(3), a condenser(4), an evaporator(5), an absorber(6), and high and low-temperature heat exchangers(7,8). The absorption-type refrigerating machine spreads an absorption solution with high concentration generated from the low-temperature regenerator to the absorber by pressure difference. A gas-liquid separation unit(30) is installed to an absorption solution spreading connection unit formed on the upper part of a conduit and linked to the low-temperature heat exchanger to supply the absorption solution with high concentration to the absorption solution spreading pipe. A steam conduit(31) is disposed on the upper part of the gas-liquid separation unit and coupled to the absorber.
