PURPOSE: A chamber for reducing uplift pressure and a control method thereof are provided to treat underground water conveniently by dividing the chamber into an inner chamber and an outer chamber and connecting the outer chamber to a drain board and the inner chamber to a drain pipe. CONSTITUTION: An uplift pressure reducing chamber is composed of an inner chamber having an upper plate(110) including a drain hole formed in the center, an upper side wall(120) bent downward along the edge of the upper plate and composed of plural pipe holes and a lower plate(130) covered by the upper plate with the same section as the upper plate, and an outer chamber having an upper rectangular panel(210) including a drain hole formed in the center, a lower panel(220) covered by the upper panel and formed as the same section as the upper panel and a corner side wall(230) bent upward from the corner of the lower panel.
