COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTION OF LIVER DAMAGE BY INHIBITING OXIDATIVE DAMAGE AND DESTRUCTION OF LIVER CELLS CAUSED BY ALCOHOL CONTAINING GREEN TEA POLYPHENOLS, CALCIUM AND BILE ACID

PURPOSE: A composition for prevention of liver damage containing green tea polyphenols, calcium and bile acid is provided. It inhibits the oxidative damage and destruction of liver cells caused by alcohol and therefore can be used as a food and drug for prevention and treatment of liver damage. CONSTITUTION: The composition for prevention of liver damage contains 25.0 to 90.25% by weight of green tea polyphenols, 14.5 to 58.5% by weight of calcium and 1.0 to 20.0% by weight of bile acid. The polyphenol is one or more selected from the group consisting of epigallocatechin gallate, epicatechin gallate and epigallocatechin. The calcium is one or more selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate(eggshell calcium, shell calcium, seaweed calcium and coral calcium), calcium phosphate, calcium chloride, calcium lactate, calcium citrate, calcium gluconate, whey calcium, milk calcium, calcium pantothenate, calcium peptide and chitosan-calcium. The bile acid is one or more selected from the group consisting of taurocholic acid, glycocholic acid, desoxycholic acid, cholic acid and cholic acid derivatives.
