METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY TREATING ORGANIC MATERIALS, NITROGEN, AND PHOSPHOROUS IN WASTEWATER THROUGH INTERMITTENT AERATION PROCESS

PURPOSE: To provide a method for treating organic materials, nitrogen, and phosphorous in wastewater at the same time, which is able to watch and control an intermittent aeration process by automatically setting the operation conditions based on the nitrification speed of the concentration of flown-in nitrogen. CONSTITUTION: Wastewater treated by an activated sludge tank and an anaerobic tank is divided into two flow selectable in accordance with control conditions of a flow alternation device. After passing through a first intermittent aeration tank, a third intermittent aeration tank, and a re-aeration tank, the wastewater is sent to a settling tank. Alternatively, after passing a second intermittent aeration tank, the third intermittent aeration tank, and the re-aeration tank, the wastewater is sent to the settling tank.
