摘要

PURPOSE: A hybrid electric vehicle stability control system is provided to execute power-assist and regenerative braking operations by controlling independently motors of each vehicle wheel without a brake actuator and accordingly to improve fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid electric vehicle stability control system is composed of a motor for hybrid traveling(40) mounted in each vehicle wheel(15,15') to be capable of regenerative braking and power-assist; a traveling state detecting unit for sensing a traveling state of a vehicle; and a control unit(50) for deciding oversteer or understeer tendency of the vehicle by calculating a signal input from the traveling state detecting unit and accordingly controlling the motors. The motor for hybrid traveling receives power from a battery(30) charged with electricity generated from a power generator(20) of the vehicle. The traveling state detecting unit comprises an acceleration sensor, a yaw rate sensor, a steering angle sensor, a vehicle wheel speed sensor, and a brake pressure sensor.
