PURPOSE: A connection structure for a shift cable of a transmission is provided to facilitate separation and assembly works in replacing the shift cable, to improve caulking effect, and to check easily an abnormal state of a transfer path by splitting the shift cable and combining the shift cable to a mass damper. CONSTITUTION: In a connection structure for a shift cable(200a,200b) of a transmission, a first member of the shift cable that is split into two parts is connected to the transmission and a second member of the shift cable is linked to a shift lever. The first and second members are combined with first and second masses(100a,100b), which are split into male and female parts. The first and second masses are joined detachably to each other. The first and second masses have through-holes having screw grooves joined with the first or second member by bolts(130a,130b,140a,140b).
