PURPOSE: A shifting device for a shift-by-wire system of a vehicle is provided to improve mounting convenience and to reduce the number of parts and weight by removing an existing lever and a link and substituting a lever with the size of a multi-function switch. CONSTITUTION: A shifting device for a shift-by-wire system of a vehicle is mounted around a steering wheel and composed of a head unit(110) indicating the position of each shift lever at set intervals; a shift level regulating lever(120) combined with the head unit, moved and fixed to each position of the shift level formed at the head unit, and electrically coupled with a circuit to generate an electric signal corresponding to a moved state toward each shift level; and a shift mode regulating lever(130) joined to the side of the shift level regulating lever to switch a shift mode according to a combined state between the shift level regulating lever and the shift mode regulating lever.
