PURPOSE: A packing frame bending device and a method are provided to shorten the working speed and time by processing and bending at right angle a protruded portion in one bending press and to produce a packing frame by a continuous process in one bending press by pressing the protruded portion between movable and fixed molds. CONSTITUTION: A packing frame bending device is composed of a movable mold(20) installed on the upside of a fixed mold(10) fastened to a bending press and separated at the predetermined space from the fixed mold; a guide(21) mounted to the rear side of the movable mold, fitted into a housing(11) formed in the rear side of the fixed mold, and elastically supported by a spring(22) in the housing; a bent groove(23) formed on the upside of the movable mold; and a controller for adjusting the descent depth of a blade(30) dropping into the bent groove of the movable mold.
