PURPOSE: A system and a method for receiving position information of one mobile terminal by another mobile terminal are provided to allow a patron to easily search a lost protege by providing various information. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication Web server analyzes position data received from a pager network(112) and a mobile communication base station(110) and stores calculated position information in a database(150). If a user of a mobile terminal(130) requests providing of position information, the Web server searches whether there is position information stored in a mobile terminal DB(170) of the database(150), reads geographical information corresponding to position data(coordinate values) from a geographical information DB(160) of the database(150), and makes a map for the coordinate values-indicated geographical information of mobile terminals(100,101). Also, in this case, as for a position of the mobile terminal(130), coordinate values of the mobile terminal(130) are deduced to make a map. The map information is converted according to a form agreed with the user and provides it the position information to the mobile terminal(130).
