PURPOSE: Provided is a process for extracting natural volatile essential oil alleviating blood pressure from Japanese cypress by a vertical type heating system. CONSTITUTION: The natural essential oil is extracted from branches and leaves of the Japanese cypress by the vertical type heating system. The essential oil extraction time is shortened by supplying high temperature and high pressure steam to a high pressure steam line of an outer casing of a distillation tank and increasing the inside temperature rapidly. And the production efficiency is increased by bypassing the high pressure steam and passing through a low pressure steam line and recycling a residual essential oil component after extracting.
