SIMPLE AND INEXPENSIVE REPEATER USING POWER SWITCH MODULES IN A TIME DIVISION DUPLEXING REPEATER, PARTICULARLY RELATED TO CHANGING INPUT/OUTPUT TERMINALS OF A LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER AND A HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER INTO A TRANSMIT-ANTENNA OR A RECEIVE-ANTENNA IN UPLINK AND DOWNLINK
SIMPLE AND INEXPENSIVE REPEATER USING POWER SWITCH MODULES IN A TIME DIVISION DUPLEXING REPEATER, PARTICULARLY RELATED TO CHANGING INPUT/OUTPUT TERMINALS OF A LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER AND A HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER INTO A TRANSMIT-ANTENNA OR A RECEIVE-ANTENNA IN UPLINK AND DOWNLINK
PURPOSE: A simple and inexpensive repeater using a power switch module in a TDD(Time Division Duplexing) repeater is provided to change input/output terminals of an LNA(Low Noise Amplifier) and an HPA(High Power Amplifier) into a transmit-antenna or a receive-antenna in uplink and downlink by using power switch modules, thereby reducing the size of an external housing while decreasing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: Filters(61,62) pass occupied frequency bandwidths only. Power switch modules(11,12) change input/output terminals of an LNA(20) and an HPA(40) into a transmit-antenna or a receive-antenna. The LNA(20) amplifies a weak signal received in an antenna(71) while minimizing a noise. An up/down convert module(30) converts the amplified signal into an IF(Intermediate Frequency) signal to improve an SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) by passing an occupied frequency bandwidth only of the converted signal, and controls a necessary gain. The HPA(40) amplifies the signal with high power. A control module(50) is used for controlling a gain, analyzing/responding to an external control signal, and controlling a repeater(90).
