PURPOSE: A stone masonry reinforcing device and a stone masonry reinforcing method thereof are provided to stabilize a stone structure by firmly laying an anchor rod supporting a steel wire mesh and preventing swelling against earth pressure. CONSTITUTION: A stone masonry reinforcing device is composed of an anchor member(120) installed in a ground through an insertion hole formed in a stone structure, a steel wire mesh mounted to an outer wall of the stone structure, and a fixing cap(140) fastening the steel wire mesh to the anchor member to contact the steel wire mesh to the outer wall of the stone structure. The anchor member is composed of an anchor rod(122) having a male screw part combined with the fixing cap and a fitting groove combined with the steel wire mesh. The fixing cap comprises a female screw part(142) combined with the male screw part of the anchor rod, and contacts the steel wire mesh inserted to the fitting groove of the anchor rod to the outer wall of the stone structure.
