PURPOSE: A vessel for boiling the laundry is provided to maximize thermal efficiency and reduce boiling hours by boiling the laundry evenly with discharging pressure and forming vortex, and to prevent overflow of contents and separation of a lid by fixing the lid to a body with a steel wire. CONSTITUTION: A laundry boiling vessel is composed of a body(20), a lid(10) and a steel wire connecting the body to the lid. Four connecting holes(21) are formed in the upper edge of the body, and connected to links of the steel wires for fixing the lid to the body by hooks. Hook holes(15) and a knob(16) are formed on a projection(11) in the middle of the lid, and first and second elliptical discharge ports(13,14) are formed around the projection. The lid is contained in the body by keeping the space between the inner periphery of the body and a bottom plate(12) of the lid to boil the laundry evenly by forming vortex with discharging detergent liquid. Accidents are prevented by restricting outflow of liquid detergent, and boiling water and hours are reduced by decreasing heat loss.
