FIELD: seismic prospecting.;SUBSTANCE: device comprises partially submerged vessel, source of linear mechanical force whose first movable member is joined to the weight which can move upward and second one is joined with the striker-emitter. The bottom of the vessel is provided with port. The housing, which can be a part of the vessel, is secured to the bottom over periphery of the port. The housing received the submerged striker-emitter which is mounted above the port and can move downward. The striker is coupled with the weight through flexible members.
