A device for generating a gas flow (3) with superimposed pressure waves or pulsations (8) comprises an arrangement (10) for generating a uniform gas flow in a flow channel (9) and a blocking arrangement (13) for cyclic opening and closing of the channel. The invention also relates to a corresponding acoustic test bed for testing measures for influencing sound propagation, especially in the intake or exhaust lines of a combustion engine. An independent claim is made for a method for generating a gas flow with superimposed pressure waves or pulses.
