Brake lining (10) for a disk brake comprises a friction lining (14) arranged on a support plate (12) and a convex leaf spring (20) arranged along one radially outer-lying outer surface (12a) of the support plate. The first end (20e1) of the leaf spring is pivotably fixed to the support plate and the second end (20e2) is removably arranged along the outer surface of the support plate so that it can be displaced in the axial direction. Preferred Features: The first end of the leaf spring passes through a radially outward-protruding eyelet (16) formed on the outer surface of the support plate.
