The outer contour of the chamber corresponds with the inner contour of commercially-available cell culture dishes (2). The seal is fixed in the depression. It is molded-in, or is held by friction and detachable. Seal and recess dimensions are detailed. The flow chamber is 0.5-50 cm in height. The culture cell is interchangeable. An adaptor plate is included between dish (2) and lever, to distribute pressure uniformly.
