The electromagnetic solenoid uses a new coil carrier configuration that includes a field coil (ZMS) used to provide compensation of the temperature coefficient. Voltages are obtained to provide a control current and this is used in a circuit having an adjustable gain to minimize temperature dependence. The range is dependent upon a set reference value.
