The method involves measuring data of information about all three directions spatially. Comparisons are made of the three-dimensional data, where a result of the comparison forms the congruence from measuring data, producing model data. The geometrical relationship between both forms is varied and the steps repeated until the congruence is reached. The 3D objects are classified based on the comparative model. An independent claim is included for a computer-assisted vehicle information system.
