Control method for switching element of automobile automatic gearbox with drive train disconnection function or hill-holder function activated in dependence on output signal of multi-stage brake light switch
The control method is used when a disconnection function for the drive train or a hill-holder function for the drive train is actived for a standing vehicle, the switching element moved into an open or slip position for the disconnection function and moved into engagement with a second switch element of the gearbox for the hill-holder function. The braking system of the automobile has a multi-stage brake light switch providing at least 2 different output signals dependent on whether the braking is provided by the foot brake or the stationary brake, the disconnection function or the hill-holder function activated in dependence on the output signal of the brake light switch.
