The invention relates to a system and a procedure for the protection of data consistency within business processes, in particular during the plant project planning, where synchronization mechanisms perform an alignment of data of various tools. The synchronization mechanisms enable both an automated detecting of modifications in a volume of data as well as an automated detecting and resolving of conflicting modifications. The synchronization platform is aimed at reoccurring functions of customer specific synchronization solutions like delta manager. A layer for technological modeling contains conflict cognition (CC) and conflict resolution strategies (RS).
