The manifold (1) has a collecting strand(3) with two ingresses (6, 8) through which gas flows into the strand in a direction of an exhaust gas aggregate. The peel geometry of the manifold is so designed that the gas flow is separated in an area after the admission of the ingresses in the direction of the aggregate. An opening of a cylinder is vertically oriented with respect to the strand.
