The system has a power transmission unit (9) with hydrodynamic and switchable clutches (13, 14) that are parallely arranged and switched together. Control/regulating devices coupled to a central control/regulating device (19) compile set instantaneous parameters at individual components of the unit (9) for performance transmission. A central drive control unit determines the transmission through the clutch (13). An independent claim is also included for a process for regulating a transmission power in drive-cord of a vehicle.
