Process for forming and delivering small droplets (T) of a liquid uses a piston pump with piezomotor-driven piston. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) dispenser for this purpose; (2) process for applying a large number of droplets, e.g. of an agent or test liquid, to a chip or glass surface for test purposes; (3) dispensing system for this process.
