The method involves producing and processing two-dimensional elevations of three-dimensional objects. The elevations are produced in form of two-dimensional vector data. The objects are produced from the elevations by defining connecting lines between the elevations, where the objects are created in the form of three-dimensional vector data with the help of a database/external program loaded graphical unit. An independent claim is also included for a system for producing computer-aided graphics of a three-dimensional object.
