Device for cleaning pharmaceutical containers has at least two processing stations (12-15) of which at least one has a two-phase nozzle (16) with which an air-water mixture can be sprayed into a container (11). Alternately at least one has an arrangement for blowing steam into a container. An independent claim is made for a method for cleaning pharmaceutical containers, in which an air-water mixture is sprayed into the container to be cleaned, followed by distilled water and then sterile air.
