The device for the making safe of pressurized components, feed units, machines, pumps and suchlike has a piston (6) sealing the overpressure or underpressure section by a defined magnetic force. With an ensuing underpressure the piston lifts from its seat, is held by a magnet, and moved and/or held in an end position. The movable parts are sealed by O-rings, by piston rings, or by the principle of mechanical seals. The device uses permanent magnets or electromagnets of different geometry.
