The bottom of the pool comprises a flexible sheet (3) which can be rolled up for transport. The side walls comprise wall sections (4) with a peripheral flange (9) pointing away from the pool. The wall sections contain horizontal channels which form reinforcing parts or can be used to transport a medium. Combination seals are formed between the wall sections and between the wall sections and sheet using sealing strips, an adhesive layer and mechanical pressure. An independent claim is also included for a kit for assembling the pool in situ, comprising an auxiliary frame (2) with the same length and width as the pool, a flat sheet spread over the frame, wall sections which are mounted in and detachable from the frame, a riveting means, a sealing means and adhesive.
