The cladding system comprises prefabricated elements fixable on vertical struts (16) connected together through a handrail (18). At least one assembly tie (14) extends at least along two vertical struts and is fixed to same so that a cladding module (12) can be detachably fixed on the tie. The assembly tie can be a holding profile with a contact bearing face (29,28) pointing towards the cladding module.
