The bucket holder has a rectangular tray (2.1) held on a frame with a vertical tube (2). The top end of the tube has a screw attachment (1.51) to a tubular frame (1.1) which lies alongside a stringer of the ladder. The screw fastening engages in a tube (1.6) which extends into a hollow rung of the ladder. A catch (3) near the top of the frame engages the rim of the bucket.
