Manufacture of a co-compost to recover urban residual sludge and green waste. The invention consists of a composting technique allowing the stability of the composted product and obtaining a quality organic amendment with the chelating effect of E.T.M. and P.C.B. Co-Compost consists of a mixture of urban residual sludge with a dryness of less than 30% of dry matter, green waste comprising structuring agents and a calcium-magnesium amendment allowing the chelation of E.T.M. and PCBs and make them non-assimilable. The Co-compost according to the invention is particularly intended for horticultural crops, green spaces and non-food agriculture.
