The boot (1) has a structural layer presenting mechanical depressions extending between two consecutive openings (16). The structural layer breaks off following the mechanical depressions, a flap (10) and an integrality of hinge-plates (14) that open by its displacement relative to the structural layer, during deployment of an air bag. The flap permits passage of the air bag through the boot.
