The unit has a support plate (2) and a heating unit layer (8) supported on the support plate. A plate unit (12) with a spring is coupled to an electrical conductor unit (24) that is placed in contact with heat resistance of the heating unit layer by elastic force exerted by the plate unit. A press plate presses the plate unit, a buffer layer and/or a graphite layer against the support plate using the plate unit. An independent claim is also included for a cooking apparatus including a heating unit.
