The method involves storing a key related to user identification information in a database (104), when a user (300) initiates a session. An equation being satisfied by the key is found each time the user performs an operation. A system of equations is solved to deduce the key, when a given number of operations are performed. The user identification information is deduced from the obtained key by referring with the database. An independent claim is also included for a fraud control system in an electronic transaction system.
