An induction tool comprises an electrode disposed in an insulating tool body at a selected location between a bucking coil and receiver, where selected location is spaced from a transmitter at a distance corresponding approximately to a harmonic mean of a distance between transmitter and bucking coil, and a distance between transmitter and receiver, and where electrode includes a contact forming a conductive path to conductive mandrel. An induction tool comprises a conductive mandrel; an array(s) comprising a transmitter, a bucking coil, and a receiver disposed in an insulating tool body surrounding the conductive mandrel; and an electrode disposed in the insulating tool body at a selected location between the bucking coil and receiver, where the selected location is spaced from the transmitter at a distance corresponding approximately to a harmonic mean of a distance between the transmitter and bucking coil, and a distance between the transmitter and receiver, and where the electrode includes a contact forming a conductive path to the conductive mandrel.
