6-Alkanoyl-4,5-dialkyl-1,10-epoxy-7-alkanoyloxy-decahydro-2-naphthols (A) are new. 6-Alkanoyl-4,5-dialkyl-1,10-epoxy-7-alkanoyloxy-decahydro-2-naphthols of formula (A) are new. ACTIVITY : Insecticide; Antiparkinsonian. 6S-Acetyl-4R,5R-dimethyl-1R,10S-epoxy-7R-acetoxy-decahydro-2R-naphthol had a minimum active concentration of 3.1 Microg/Microl per 10 larvae against Phormia terrae novaelarvae when injected into the last abdominal segment of the larvae as a solution in water/dimethyl sulfoxide.
