The assembly has a dashboard part (1) with an extraction flap (16) opened during airbag inflation. A frame (2) fixed to a part (1) forms an air bag deployment guiding channel (12). A reinforcement flap (3) has a reinforcement plate (18) plated on one side of flap (16). The flap (3) has a hinge unit with assembling zones (23) which have openings (31) for receiving ribs (30) projected on the frame, to connect flap (3) with the frame. An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a dashboard of a vehicle.
